Gidgee Chunky Hardwood Lump Charcoal is very popular amongst keen barbecue folk who know their charcoals.  Gidgee is a premium quality homegrown charcoal that burns very hot and is long lasting.

Australian Gidgee is a regular choice amongst barbecue enthusiasts.

Highly recommended for use in Kamado grills for high temp grilling and low n slow smoking.

Each bag contains 18kg – 19kg of large chunky pieces of gidgee charcoal.  Some settling of the charcoal may occur in transit.  Each bag has pieces large approx 20cm long x 10cm thick approx.

At BBQs of the World we have always liked Gidgee for it’s high heat output and the tremendous flavour it adds to grilled or roasted food.  Quality gidgee in good size pieces has become much harder to obtain in recent years which has impacted supply.  Therefore please note that this product is only available sporadically.
