This Kamado gasket suits models such as: Big Green Egg Small, Medium, Large, XL & Char-griller Acorn Kamado, Kamado Joe Classic 18″, Big Joe 24″.

The LavaLock® Kamado Joe Gasket replacement kit is a wire mesh fibreglass gasket kit suited for Kamado style grills.  It will comfortably fit most Kamado grills including 2016 Kamado Joe models and older that originally had a felt gasket fitted.  This is a replacement gasket and an upgrade at the same time.

LavaLock® loves Kamado Joe’s so they engineered a replacement Kamado Joe mesh gasket that is the most durable available today.

Why should I buy a new gasket for my Kamado?

By replacing your old worn gasket with a new gasket you will ensure that the high temperature thermal seal remains in tact, even under high-heat conditions.  Rated for 1000°F degrees this wire mesh fiberglass gasket provides a protective barrier, critically, where the dome meets the grill, sealing in as much heat and smoke as possible.

This is a gasket to retro fit and update ceramic cookers including Kamado Joe Classic, Big Green Egg, Char-griller Acorn Kamado etc.  Yes that’s right, you can use this Kamado Joe gasket in a Big Green Egg.

One 2.25m length of gasket has enough length to cover either the lid or the base. It is the correct thickness to replace the felt gasket that is already on the lid or base of your grill.

Note: This replacement fiberglass gasket kit fits all Ceramic Cookers and Kamodo Joe Classic 2016 and earlier.  For these models, only one new gasket is required to be installed as this new gasket is thicker than the original felt one.
